Nonprofit Intelligence Collective
One trusted place
to navigate AI
for nonprofits.
The Nonprofit Intelligence Collective helps nonprofit leaders understand AI, identify responsible use cases, and choose the support that fits their team's capacity.
Interest in AI is high across the social sector, but readiness is not. NIC is being built in partnership with the organizations the sector already trusts — a unified response, designed with and for nonprofits.
The public site is launching soon. We look forward to sharing more with you.
What NIC will deliver
Three connected functions, one unified response.
01
Shared playbook
A shared playbook for AI strategy and integration.
A common curriculum, built by organizations that have already done this work, designed to support real behavior change inside nonprofits — not just one-off webinars.
02
Community of Practice
A Community of Practice with quarterly cohorts.
Structured guidance and rolling cohorts where nonprofit practitioners learn together, test ideas in their own organizations, and share what's actually working.
03
Advocacy engine
A centralized advocacy engine for the nonprofit sector.
Surveys and shared findings from across the field that inform responsible practice and shape policy priorities — so the sector has a unified voice in how AI is governed and adopted.
Partners & Collaborators
Built with organizations nonprofits already trust.
NIC is being shaped with input from organizations that understand governance, advocacy, technology access, and community practice. Compass Pro Bono serves as the coordinating backbone.
